Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in connecting various software systems, applications, and APIs to enable seamless and secure data exchange across the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and troubleshooting of integration workflows using programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, as well as integration tools and platforms.
  • Participate in thorough testing of integrations to ensure their reliability, security, and adherence to performance goals and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate data transfers, transformations, and validation processes.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, including technical specifications, data mappings, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate effectively with software engineers, data analysts, and other team members to define integration requirements, address technical challenges, and optimize integration solutions.
  • Monitor integration performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, scalability, and optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest integration technologies, trends, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Solid knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript and Python, with a strong understanding of programming fundamentals.
  • Basic understanding of API concepts (RESTful, SOAP) and experience working with APIs to retrieve and exchange data.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience with collaborative software development workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and apply them effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica is a plus.
  • Experience with tools like Postman or similar API testing tools.

Skills

Proficient computer skills including use of Microsoft Office/Excel. Understanding of how to use Teams/Remote Meeting Platforms. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Experience

Beginner level experience in software integration or related fields.

Education

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
