Role & Responsibilities

  • Organize daily bank files from Treasury into cash tracking files.
  • Record cash movements for wires and ensure timely application.
  • Collect and deposit checks from business partners.
  • Collaborate with accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate bank activity recording.
  • Perform bank reconciliations for US and Canadian accounts, including concentration and retail store deposit accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items from bank reconciliations to minimize aged items.
  • Analyze over/short activity and partner with sales audit to identify potential fraud.
  • Record and reconcile cash pooling activities between US, Canadian entities, and LVMH.
  • Account for the education note program and partner with collections on delinquent loan repayments.
  • Identify and propose automation solutions to reduce manual reconciliation efforts.
  • Support IT initiatives impacting retail cash collection by executing testing procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree obtained or in progress in Accounting or related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible work schedule during monthly and year-end closing, priority projects, and special assignments.
