Role & Responsibilities

  • Translate design concepts into 3D CAD models, ensuring manufacturability and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and maintain 3D CAD models for new and existing products, ensuring adherence to best practices and project timelines.
  • Create detailed drawings for jewelry components, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards.
  • Perform regular maintenance on 3D printing equipment and manage post-processing of prints.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and potential barriers are addressed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to oversee CAD development and provide updates on project progress.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions.
  • Stay current with industry standards and advancements in CAD technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Art, or a related field.
  • Extensive training and experience in CAD and model making with a strong aesthetic sensibility.
  • In-depth knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes.
  • Expertise in Rhino software, SubD tool in Rhino, and Z-Brush.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
