Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute compelling storytelling and creative content for regional campaigns that engage the target audience.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams, including Marketing, PR, CRM, and E-commerce, to interpret briefs, develop concepts, and refine work based on feedback.
  • Provide strategic guidance to global teams with insights into China's cultural and creative landscape.
  • Lead a team of creatives, including art directors and designers, to deliver high-quality work across multiple projects.
  • Oversee the entire campaign lifecycle, from ideation to post-production, ensuring impactful delivery.
  • Establish a sub-entity within the team to focus on culturally relevant local campaigns.
  • Stay informed about trends in culture, luxury, design, technology, and social media both in China and globally.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as a creative director or art director in the luxury or fashion industry.
  • Proven track record with leading luxury brands and delivering top-tier work.
  • Strong luxury sensibility and aesthetic judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability in concept development and ideation for global brand creative teams.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on talent development.

Skills

Expertise in art direction, graphic design, and visual storytelling. Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media content creation. Ability to communicate complex technical and design issues effectively. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years in a creative director or art director role within the luxury or fashion industry.

Education

Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or a related field.
