Role & Responsibilities
- Lead strategic projects to enhance supply chain efficiency and cost control in the Asia region.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to optimize lead times for merchandise delivery to retail stores.
- Partner with the merchandising team to manage high jewelry movements, balancing duty costs and speed.
- Drive improvements in logistics lead time performance with operations teams and forwarders.
- Develop and maintain globally consistent data management processes in partnership with the Center of Excellence.
- Ensure accurate HS code assignment and review customs entries for compliance.
- Manage day-to-day shipment operations and analyze freight-related expenditures.
- Enhance customs compliance and assist in audit resolutions and voluntary disclosures.
- Maintain and update logistics and customs documentation and reports for the Asia region.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and decision-making through the maintenance of the Asia Sharepoint site.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of logistics and customs experience in a multi-country environment.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on numerical disciplines.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale projects with tight deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of Lean, project management, and change management methodologies.
- Strong IT proficiency with a proactive approach to learning new systems.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 8 years in logistics and customs, with mandatory in-house experience in a multi-country setting.
Education
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a numerical emphasis.
