Eyewear Product Manager Intern
Thélios (LVMH) in Longarone, Italy seeks an Eyewear Product Manager Intern for a 2-year Institut des Métiers d'Excellence training program starting Oct 2026.
Overview
Thélios is the LVMH eyewear maison that blends haute-couture aesthetics with technical eyewear expertise. As part of the LVMH ecosystem and working with the Institut des Métiers d’Excellence, Thélios participates in structured training partnerships with industry bodies such as Certottica and ITS Cosmo to transmit artisanal know‑how and product development skills to emerging talent.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end development of eyewear collections, from concept and trend analysis through to industrializable technical projects.
- Research materials and manufacturing technologies suitable for optical and sun collections, and propose technical solutions.
- Translate creative concepts and sketches into technical drawings and specifications ready for prototyping and production.
- Follow and coordinate the technical realization process: graphic work, prototype construction and 3D printing.
- Collaborate with Style, Product Development, Design and Prototyping teams during company-based stages.
- Participate in theoretical and practical classroom training (approx. 1,080 hours) and complete 720 hours of on‑the‑job internship placement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (diploma di scuola superiore).
- Eligible to work/study in Italy: Italian citizens, EU nationals, or non‑EU nationals with valid residence/permesso di soggiorno.
- Manual dexterity, patience, precision and strong attention to detail.
- Interest in eyewear design, materials and product industrialization.
- Open to a 2‑year, full‑time training programme combining classroom and company internship (3–5 positions available).

Experience
Entry-level — first professional experience acceptable or none; designed for recent graduates seeking an introductory career path in eyewear product development.
Education
High school diploma (secondary school). Technical or artistic diplomas in design, optics or related fields are advantageous.
