Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the operational strategy for all Tapestry Footwear products from prototype to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director and cross-functional teams including Design, Merchandising, and Asia Teams.
  • Oversee development and fit specifications from initial concept to final product.
  • Manage communication between NY PD, cross-functional partners, and Factory/Service providers.
  • Review prototypes and final samples, preparing for development meetings.
  • Organize and manage the NY wear test program charts and sample distribution.
  • Create and update Construction Review Forms (CRF) and Tooling Review Forms (TRF).
  • Participate in research and development of new techniques and fits to support design and product innovation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in footwear and technical development, preferably in luxury fashion shoes.
  • Basic knowledge of fit, paper patterns, lasts, materials, and footwear construction variations.
  • Experience working with footwear factories, both local and abroad, is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently.
  • Understanding of footwear costing and ability to translate design sketches into prototypes.

Microsoft Office 365 Teams Excel PowerPoint EcVision Photoshop Rhinos (3D, CAD)

Experience

5+ years of experience in footwear and technical development, preferably in luxury fashion shoes.

Education

A diploma in footwear fashion & technology or footwear manufacturing experience. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is a plus.
