Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the construction and drafting of new products.
  • Coordinate the resolution of technical issues related to watch casing and continuously improve technical processes within the department.
  • Analyze the feasibility of requests from the Product department.
  • Identify technical-aesthetic compromises with the Development and Product teams.
  • Construct products based on specifications that meet TAG Heuer's technical, industrial, and aesthetic standards.
  • Ensure the robustness and eco-responsibility of products.
  • Introduce innovations in constructions, including new concepts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure information sharing with suppliers and internal departments regarding constructions, justifying and documenting design choices during design reviews, and analyzing technical risks with stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality of information stored in systems, particularly technical codification.
  • Lead the resolution of cross-functional technical issues identified by quality assurance, after-sales service, and production to implement sustainable solutions quickly.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in watchmaking.
  • Experience in CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
  • Knowledge of machining processes and industrialization constraints.

Skills

Functional approach to constructions (tolerance chains, mastery of assemblies). Ability to find compromises between aesthetics and technical requirements. Rigorous, proactive, and able to work autonomously and in a team. Capability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from start to finish. Proficiency in English. ISO GPS dimensioning and tolerancing. Technical expertise in watch casing.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Education

Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, or equivalent.
