Swatch is recruiting a Sales Assistant in Rome (Via del Corso) — part-time/full-time boutique role delivering luxury client service.

Overview

The Swatch Group (Italia) S.p.A. operates the Italian retail network and supports marketing, sales and service activities from its Milan office while managing Corporate Stores and Boutiques across prime city locations, shopping centres and airports.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalised client service that reflects Swatch brand standards and fosters long-term customer relationships.
  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets through active client engagement, product presentation and suggestive selling.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, process transactions, handle returns and manage receipts with attention to cash-handling procedures.
  • Maintain boutique presentation and visual merchandising standards, ensuring product displays are immaculate and merchandise is replenished.
  • Support stock management activities including inventory counts, receiving deliveries and communicating replenishment needs.
  • Assist with in-store events, private appointments and after-sales service enquiries, liaising with head office when necessary.
  • Contribute to a collaborative store environment, sharing market feedback and client intelligence with store management.

Qualifications

  • Proven interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude and polished communication.
  • Availability for retail shift patterns, including evenings, weekends and public holidays; flexibility to work part-time or full-time as required.
  • Professional appearance and an appreciation for luxury watchmaking and product craftsmanship.
  • Fluency in Italian; additional languages (English or others) are advantageous.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work within a team while taking individual responsibility for sales performance.

Experience

Entry-level to junior retail experience preferred; 1+ year of customer-facing work in retail or luxury goods is advantageous. Experience in watch or accessories sales is a plus.
