Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering, process mapping and functional design for SAP SD and MM to support sales, distribution and materials management processes.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and configuration settings; partner with ABAP/development teams to deliver technical solutions.
  • Configure SAP SD/MM (and S/4HANA if applicable) modules, manage master data considerations and oversee data migration activities for cutover.
  • Plan and coordinate unit, integration and user acceptance testing (UAT); prepare test scripts and validate end-to-end business scenarios (O2C and P2P).
  • Drive change management: produce user documentation, deliver training, and provide go‑live / hypercare support following deployments.
  • Act as primary liaison between commercial, supply chain, finance and IT stakeholders; escalate and resolve functional issues and system defects.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimisation within SD/MM scope, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • SAP SD and SAP MM functional expertise; SAP certification in SD or MM preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Order‑to‑Cash and Procure‑to‑Pay processes and how they integrate with finance and logistics.
  • Proven ability to author clear functional specifications and to manage testing, data migration and cutover activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to operate in cross‑functional, international teams.

Experience

Senior-level experience (typically 5+ years) delivering SAP SD and MM functional design, configuration and support in multi-module implementations or large-scale support engagements; experience in manufacturing, retail or luxury goods preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
