Sales Associate

Swatch Group — Sales Associate in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, France. Fixed-term contract (CDD), 35h/week from 07/04/2026 to 31/08/2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, client-focused service to customers and build lasting client relationships to drive sales.
  • Advise customers on Swatch products, features and collections, demonstrating product knowledge and styling recommendations.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets and contribute to store KPIs through proactive selling and follow-up.
  • Operate POS systems, process transactions accurately and handle cash and payment reconciliation according to company procedures.
  • Maintain premium store presentation and visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines.
  • Manage stock: receive deliveries, perform inventory counts, and ensure accurate stock replenishment on the shop floor.
  • Support store events, product launches and promotional activities as required.
  • Provide after-sales support including basic product care advice and warranty/exchange assistance.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail sales experience; experience in watches, jewellery or luxury accessories preferred.
  • Customer-service oriented with a polished, professional manner and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a 35-hour weekly schedule and to perform on a fixed-term contract (CDD) covering 07/04/2026–31/08/2026.
  • Strong numeracy and organisational skills for cash handling and stock management.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings as required by store opening hours.

Experience

Prior experience in retail sales is required; preference given to candidates with experience in watchmaking, jewellery or luxury retail environments.

Education

High-school diploma (Baccalauréat) or equivalent; vocational training in retail or commerce is advantageous.
