RF & Electronics Engineer
Swatch Group in Marin, Switzerland seeks an RF & Electronics Engineer for R&D in watch communications technology.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, prototype and validate RF front‑ends and electronic subsystems for wearable timepieces and short‑range communications applications.
- Create and review schematics and PCB layouts; build and debug prototypes at component and board level.
- Perform RF and electronic measurements (S‑parameters, spectra, time‑domain signals) and lead test campaigns to verify performance and robustness.
- Define test plans, execute EMC/EMI assessments and contribute to regulatory compliance activities for wireless functions.
- Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, materials and production teams to ensure successful transfer of designs to manufacturing.
- Document technical specifications, test reports and production transfer packages; propose cost‑ and performance‑driven component selections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or equivalent.
- Solid fundamentals in RF engineering and analog/digital electronics.
- Practical experience prototyping and debugging PCBs and RF circuits.
- Familiarity with short‑range wireless technologies (e.g., Bluetooth/BLE, NFC) is strongly preferred.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and to work in cross‑disciplinary R&D teams.

Experience
Typically 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in RF and electronics product development, preferably within consumer electronics or wearable devices; demonstrated involvement in R&D projects and transfer to production environments.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or a closely related discipline.
