Data Integration Engineer
Swatch Group is hiring a Data Integration Engineer in Toronto for the Canadian IT division — design and deliver enterprise data integrations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain data integration solutions and ETL pipelines to consolidate data from multiple source systems.
- Implement and manage API-based integrations (REST/JSON and legacy formats where applicable) between internal applications and external partners.
- Ensure data quality, validation and reconciliation processes are in place and perform regular data integrity checks.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with stakeholders across IT, operations and business units.
- Document integration architecture, runbooks and handover materials; provide production support and incident resolution for integration services.
- Contribute to deployment automation and continuous integration practices for integration deliverables.
- Participate in technical design reviews and advise on best practices for scalability, security and performance of data flows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and delivering data integration or ETL projects.
- Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality practices and secure handling of sensitive information.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, international team and adapt to multiple concurrent priorities.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in data integration, ETL development or a closely related systems-integration role; experience working within cross-functional IT projects and production support is expected. Prior exposure to enterprise-scale retail or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
