Swatch seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Paris (Champs-Élysées). Permanent retail role focused on sales leadership, team development and brand standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets through daily coaching, floor presence and performance follow-up.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the boutique team; conduct briefings, appraisals and on-the-job training to uphold service and brand standards.
  • Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation and staff scheduling.
  • Ensure exemplary clienteling and customer service, managing VIP relations and post‑sale follow-up to drive loyalty.
  • Implement visual merchandising and product presentation guidelines to preserve brand image and optimise sell‑through.
  • Manage inventory processes: stock reception, replenishment, cycle counts and coordination with logistics to minimise shrinkage.
  • Contribute to local marketing and in-store activations; report sales KPIs and market feedback to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory or assistant-manager experience in retail, preferably within watches, jewellery or luxury goods.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and coaching teams to deliver commercial results.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience in stock control, cash management and retail operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to represent the brand with professionalism.
  • Availability to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.

Experience

Several years of hands-on retail experience with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant-manager role; prior exposure to luxury or watch/jewellery retail strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education in business, retail or hospitality is a plus.
