Role & Responsibilities
- Process and code supplier invoices for the retail network, ensuring timely and accurate posting in the ERP system.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation, escalating and resolving discrepancies with stores and suppliers.
- Prepare and execute supplier payments according to payment terms and internal controls; manage payment runs.
- Perform regular supplier reconciliations and maintain supplier master data integrity.
- Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities related to payables, including accruals and reporting.
- Respond to supplier queries and liaise with retail store managers to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, VAT rules and local regulatory requirements; support audits when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–4 years’ professional experience in accounts payable, preferably within retail or multi‑site operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, invoice matching, reconciliations and month‑end routines.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate supplier master data and to enforce internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
Skills
Experience
2–4 years in accounts payable or general accounting, ideally within a retail environment or a multi‑brand organisation; experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems is preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree (Licence/Bachelor) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
