Swatch seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Perth (Murray St) to support store operations, lead the sales team and drive retail performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash reconciliation and compliance with company policies.
  • Drive sales performance through active floor leadership, clienteling, upselling and the implementation of visual merchandising standards.
  • Coach, motivate and develop sales associates to deliver high-quality customer service and achieve individual and team targets.
  • Manage stock processes: receiving, inventory counts, transfers, shrinkage control and liaison with regional supply teams.
  • Maintain presentation standards and execute store-level marketing initiatives, product launches and limited-edition drops to maximise footfall and conversion.
  • Assist with rostering, performance feedback, training delivery and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail supervisory or assistant-management experience in watches, jewellery or premium/luxury retail.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPI delivery.
  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Availability to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong numeracy and a meticulous approach to cash handling and stock control.

Experience

Typically 2+ years in a supervisory or assistant-manager role within retail, ideally with exposure to watches, jewellery or premium lifestyle brands and experience delivering store sales targets and staff development.

Education

Secondary education required; Certificate IV or diploma in Retail Management, Business or equivalent is desirable.
