Sephora in Rochester, NY is hiring a Sales and Service Leader (Full-time). Lead store teams and deliver exceptional client experiences. $24–$31/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to deliver outstanding client service and drive sales performance across the store.
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members through ongoing feedback, training and performance management.
  • Drive client engagement using expert product knowledge and personalized recommendations to increase conversion and basket value.
  • Support daily store operations including inventory control, receiving, stock replenishment and loss prevention.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards and maintain store presentation to brand guidelines.
  • Plan and maintain reliable shift coverage; ensure punctuality and consistency of the team during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality or a customer-service environment with direct coaching of associates.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team performance.
  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and share product knowledge quickly; aptitude for beauty products and trends.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform retail-floor duties for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability to work 30–40 hours per week including nights, weekends and holiday shifts.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or service environments with demonstrated ability to coach teams and achieve sales goals.

Education
