Sephora — Metz: Sales Advisor apprenticeship (Alternance) in-store role for candidates preparing a Bac+2, focused on beauty sales and client experience.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers, deliver personalised consultations and recommend makeup, skincare and fragrance solutions that match client needs and preferences.
  • Drive sales and conversion by actively proposing Sephora products and services, and by following merchandising and promotional directives.
  • Create memorable client experiences through exceptional service, product demonstrations and sensory presentation of the brand.
  • Contribute to store operations including stock replenishment, visual merchandising, floor maintenance and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Participate in in-store events, commercial challenges and training modules as part of the alternance programme.
  • Build client loyalty through follow-up, product knowledge sharing and adherence to Sephora’s clienteling practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (Baccalauréat) with specialization in sales or aesthetics (minimum requirement).
  • Candidate enrolled in, or seeking admission to, a Bac+2 vocational/technical programme via alternance.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a passion for beauty products and trends.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, meet commercial targets and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Professional presentation, punctuality and willingness to participate in scheduled training.

Experience

Entry-level — designed for candidates at the beginning of their retail career; no prior professional experience required, though previous customer-facing or retail exposure is a plus.

Baccalauréat (high school diploma) in sales or aesthetics; candidate must be preparing or eligible to prepare a Bac+2 qualification via an apprenticeship/alternance contract.
