Sephora Fremont (CA) seeks an Operations Leader — Full-time hourly role overseeing store operations, inventory, merchandising, and team development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment, and order fulfillment to ensure operational excellence.
  • Lead and implement visual merchandising and in-store promotional events to maintain brand standards and drive sales.
  • Manage store maintenance and operational standards to deliver a safe, compliant, and engaging shopping environment.
  • Coach, train and develop the operations team on selling behaviors, operational processes, and performance metrics.
  • Support the client experience by partnering with the store team to meet customer service objectives and store targets.
  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative culture and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
  • Maintain reliable scheduling and availability during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality (3+ years preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop front-line teams to achieve operational and sales goals.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving, organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to motivate a goal‑driven team.
  • Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Flexible availability to work 30–40 hours per week, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience
