Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day configuration and support of LAN, WAN, and WLAN networks, including troubleshooting and post-incident reporting.
  • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, ensuring compliance with corporate security policies.
  • Collaborate with business and application owners on design, support, and documentation of new application deployments.
  • Configure and install network and security hardware and software, performing scheduled and emergency maintenance.
  • Manage and maintain network and security documentation, performing internal audits for compliance.
  • Identify and resolve network problems proactively, evaluating new network security trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of overall information technology experience.

Skills

4+ years of experience with networking and security technologies, including Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls. Experience with load balancers such as F5. Automation skills with Ansible, Python, or other scripting tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Results-oriented and self-motivated with a proactive mindset. Customer-service oriented with flexibility for off-hours support.

Experience

6+ years of overall information technology experience, with 4+ years specifically in networking and security technologies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
