Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services in the Beauty Studio, including makeup application, waxing and false eyelash application, in accordance with Sephora’s service menu.
- Provide personalized consultations to assess client needs, recommend products and techniques, and educate clients on current beauty trends and product usage.
- Drive sales by selling products, rebooking services, and building lasting client relationships to support store performance targets.
- Maintain active licensure, adhere to hygiene, health and safety protocols, and uphold company service standards at all times.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team environment and support store operations during peak hours, weekends and holiday periods.
Qualifications
- Active, state-required license to perform waxing, makeup and false eyelash application in the state where services are performed.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a beauty services role or in retail, hospitality, or client-facing service environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver tailored client service and achieve sales targets through consultative selling and service rebooking.
- Availability for scheduled shifts during peak retail hours (nights, weekends and holidays) with reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to comply with health, safety and sanitation standards and to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years in beauty services, retail, hospitality, or a client-facing service environment; proven record of personalized client service and meeting sales goals.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
