Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the IT roadmap for retail stores in alignment with business objectives, including defining standards, policies, and procedures for in-store technologies.
- Oversee the performance, availability, and lifecycle management of in-store systems and applications, ensuring system stability and data accuracy.
- Lead the lifecycle management of retail store hardware, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and asset tracking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver IT solutions that enhance efficiency, sales, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and mentor a team of IT professionals to provide responsive technical support and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Establish and enforce IT service level agreements for store support, ensuring timely resolution of technical incidents.
- Develop and manage the retail IT budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Evaluate and manage third-party vendors to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years in a management role overseeing retail store IT domains.
- Deep expertise in retail in-store technologies, including POS systems, inventory management software, and network infrastructure.
- Proven track record of leading distributed IT teams and managing vendor relationships.
