Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic HR advisor to Regional Directors, District Managers, and Store Managers, aligning people strategies with commercial objectives and leading change initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Own talent management processes across the market: drive performance management, lead talent reviews and succession planning, manage promotions, and deliver leadership coaching and development programs.
  • Champion culture and engagement by designing and implementing retention strategies, leading culture‑building initiatives, and partnering on inclusive employee experience programs.
  • Leverage HR metrics and analytics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism) to diagnose issues, inform recommendations, and present data‑driven insights to business leaders.
  • Manage employee relations and compliance matters, including investigations, leave and accommodation administration, and application of employment law and company policy with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Support cyclical HR programs and cross‑functional projects, coordinate training logistics, and contribute to process improvements; conduct regular store visits and market travel (estimated 25–40%).

Qualifications

  • Progressive experience as an HR Business Partner or HR generalist, ideally within retail or multi‑unit operating environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders, lead through organizational change, and build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Deep functional knowledge of performance management, succession planning, employee relations, leaves and accommodations, and employment law/compliance.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret HR data, prepare executive‑level presentations, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote, market‑based role and to travel regularly within the assigned region (25–40%).

Experience
