Sephora is hiring an E‑store Optimization Lead (EME) in Paris La Défense to lead cross‑market e‑merchandising projects and drive e‑commerce performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the EME reference lead for cross‑functional e‑merchandising and e‑store optimization projects, ensuring alignment across central teams and local markets.
  • Lead structural e‑store initiatives (e.g. Sephora Collection and Sephora Favorites programs), including taskforce facilitation, menu revamps and deployment of priority initiatives.
  • Co‑pilot the strategic e‑commerce roadmap and manage end‑to‑end delivery of major projects in partnership with Product Owners, Marketing and Growth teams.
  • Manage the JIRA request flow, prioritizing work strategically and coordinating cross‑team execution to meet timelines and KPIs.
  • Own Country Reports and deliver in‑depth business analyses with actionable recommendations; lead country audits, QBR taskforces and monthly performance reviews.
  • Monitor and optimise onsite Search performance, addressing low‑performing or zero‑result queries to improve conversion and customer experience.
  • Design and run e‑merchandising governance and capability programs: stand‑ups, weekly rituals, monthly transversal forums, trainings and best‑practice dissemination.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools and operating models to increase efficiency, scalability and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in e‑commerce, e‑merchandising or e‑store optimization; 5–7 years preferred and experience in international contexts highly desirable.
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and to influence stakeholders across central and local teams.
  • Strong analytical and data‑driven mindset with demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident presenting to senior stakeholders and cross‑regional forums.
  • Highly autonomous, organised and methodical with a strong sense of product sensibility and a results orientation.

Experience

At least 5 years in e‑commerce or e‑merchandising roles with demonstrated responsibility for cross‑market projects, prioritisation and stakeholder management; international or multi‑market experience preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E‑commerce, Data Analytics or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
