Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform operational office and clerical duties including wave planning, delivery scheduling, order tracking, auditing, and paperwork management.
  • Generate departmental reports and maintain thorough knowledge of departmental operations.
  • Train floor associates in departmental preferred methods and standard operating procedures.
  • Respond proactively to direction from leadership, including Shift Coordinators and management staff.
  • Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and regulations to ensure safe working practices.
  • Comply with all Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and acceptable attendance and a flexible work schedule, including overtime as needed.
  • Provide high-quality internal and external customer service.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or menu-driven applications. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Basic math skills and effective problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and detail-oriented. Effective communication skills with associates and vendors. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to change. Ability to prepare professional-level correspondence. Proactive and team-oriented demeanor.

Experience

Beginner level experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.
