Sephora — Sales Advisor (Apprenticeship) in Metz: apprenticeship position in-store to train towards a Bac+2 while delivering exceptional beauty service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, provide personalised product advice and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Drive sales through tailored recommendations of Sephora products and services, meeting store commercial objectives and participating in promotional campaigns.
  • Create memorable in-store experiences that reflect the brand’s standards of service and beauty expertise.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising, shelf replenishment and store presentation to ensure an engaging retail environment.
  • Participate actively in store events, commercial challenges and team briefings to support business targets.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and assist with basic stock management tasks.
  • Engage in the prescribed apprenticeship training pathway and apply learning on the shop floor.

Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate (vocational) in sales and/or esthetics, or equivalent secondary-school diploma.
  • Committed to enrolling in a Bac+2 (or higher) diploma via alternance and available for the full apprenticeship schedule.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Motivated, resilient and results-driven with enthusiasm for retail and beauty.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Legal eligibility to undertake an apprenticeship contract in France.

Experience

Entry-level position; no previous professional retail experience required. Candidates should demonstrate an interest in cosmetics and a willingness to learn through hands-on training and the formal alternance programme.

Baccalaureate (vocational) in sales and/or esthetics preferred; candidate must be preparing (or willing to prepare) a Bac+2 diploma via alternance.
