Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional makeup, skincare and fragrance consultations that align with Sephora’s service standards and hygiene protocols.
- Drive store sales by understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate products, and contributing to team targets and KPIs.
- Complete cashiering duties according to POS, CRM and company SOPs, ensuring correct application of promotions and cash security.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards: set and replenish displays, keep shelves and drawers clean, and support seasonal promotional implementations.
- Manage stock operations including receiving, returns, cycle counts and first-in/first-out product rotation to minimise shrinkage.
- Participate in required training, product and brand education; share knowledge with peers and contribute to a culture of continuous development.
- Perform additional store tasks as assigned by store management and adhere strictly to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Passion for cosmetics, beauty and fashion with a strong desire to learn and develop within retail beauty.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; optimistic and customer-focused.
- Team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate with store colleagues and management.
- Attention to hygiene, brand presentation and adherence to company SOPs and CRM policies.
- Basic numeracy and accuracy for cashiering and stock-related tasks.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; 0–2 years of retail or cosmetics sales experience preferred. Prior experience in beauty retail or customer-facing sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Secondary education (high school) or equivalent. Vocational training or certification in cosmetology/beauty is a plus.
