Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations and tailor product recommendations to individual client needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise to educate and empower clients across makeup, skincare and fragrance.
- Stay current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding individual KPIs and store targets.
- Support merchandising, inventory management and maintain an orderly, inviting sales floor.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that promotes Sephora’s culture of belonging.
- Adhere to company policies and standards to ensure a safe and positive shopping experience.
- Maintain flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holiday shifts, and meet required weekly hours.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in retail, hospitality or another client-facing setting.
- Passion for beauty, current trends and product application.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable building client relationships.
- Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset and the ability to learn and share product knowledge quickly.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; punctual with consistent attendance.
- Availability to work part-time hours (15–29 hours per week) including peak retail periods.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; prior retail, hospitality or client-facing experience preferred but not required. Demonstrated customer service aptitude and sales orientation are advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
