Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized one-on-one consultations and tailored product recommendations to meet clients’ beauty needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate product expertise across cosmetics, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and key performance indicators through consultative selling and client follow-up.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, inventory accuracy and a clean, welcoming sales floor.
- Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
- Contribute to an inclusive, team-oriented atmosphere and adhere to company policies for a safe retail experience.
- Be available for and reliably attend scheduled shifts including peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and build client relationships in retail, hospitality or a client-facing role.
- Passion for beauty products, trends and educating clients to boost confidence.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Flexible availability to meet required minimum weekly hours and work peak retail periods (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform retail floor duties.
- Quick learner with the ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; prior retail or client-facing experience is preferred and advantageous but candidates with strong customer service aptitude and a passion for beauty will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
