Sephora is hiring a Beauty Advisor in Lanzhou, China — deliver expert makeup, skincare and fragrance advice to drive store sales.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert consultations in makeup, skincare and fragrance in line with Sephora service standards, ensuring hygiene and safety protocols are followed.
- Adhere to company appearance standards and provide personalised product recommendations to meet customer needs and maximise sales.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets and KPIs through proactive selling, product knowledge and clienteling.
- Complete company-mandated trainings and assessments; participate in brand and regional training sessions and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Prepare and maintain product displays, replenish stock on shelves, and ensure visual merchandising meets Sephora standards.
- Manage cashiering duties according to SOPs, execute promotions and CRM processes accurately, and safeguard store cash procedures.
- Perform receiving, returns and inventory counts; apply FIFO and near‑expiry controls and maintain 5S in the stockroom.
- Comply with company policies and complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the store management team; report to store management.

- Demonstrable passion for cosmetics, beauty and fashion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; optimistic and customer-focused.
- Proactive, eager to learn and able to participate in ongoing training programs.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate and share knowledge within the store.
- Willingness to follow store procedures, visual standards and cash-handling protocols.
Skills
Experience
Previous retail or beauty sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; candidates with strong customer service aptitude and a passion for cosmetics are suitable.
