Sephora in Pittsburgh hiring a Beauty Advisor (Flex). Part-time, hourly $18–$23/hr. Provide personalized beauty consultations and product expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized one-to-one beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate deep product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Stay current with beauty trends, launches and application techniques to ensure relevant, up-to-date advice.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets and other KPIs through active selling, follow-up and clienteling.
  • Maintain visual standards: support merchandising, replenishment, inventory control and ensure a clean, inviting sales floor.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment aligned with Sephora’s standards and company policies.
  • Adhere to flexible scheduling requirements including availability for peak retail hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent client service in retail, hospitality, or another client-facing environment.
  • Genuine passion for beauty, trends, and helping clients build confidence through product expertise.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet minimum weekly shift requirements for Flex scheduling (as needed: 4–14 hrs/week).
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience

Entry-level role; previous retail, hospitality, or client-facing experience is preferred and a strong asset. Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and deliver consultative service is valued.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology or beauty-related coursework is a plus.
