Sephora Canada seeks a Beauty Advisor (Flex) in Ottawa — part-time hourly role (CAD$18.20–$21.40/hr) delivering personalized client consultations.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, consultative beauty experiences and product recommendations tailored to each client’s needs.
- Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients on application techniques and ingredient benefits.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through proactive client conversion and retention.
- Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized and visually compelling.
- Remain current on product launches, industry trends and competitor activity to inform client recommendations.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture by supporting colleagues, promoting openness and upholding company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous client-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a service environment with a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Passion for beauty, trends and a commitment to empowering client confidence.
- Flexible availability with willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays; punctual and reliable attendance.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by merchandising and inventory tasks.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team orientation.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; previous retail or client-facing experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate strong customer service aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
