Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client's needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, organized sales floor.
  • Keep current with beauty trends, product launches and application techniques to provide relevant advice.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment and uphold Sephora’s customer experience and safety standards.
  • Fulfill scheduling requirements, including availability for peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Qualifications

  • Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality or a related client-service role preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented environment and adapt quickly to new product knowledge.
  • Reliable punctuality and consistent attendance; ability to meet minimum weekly shift/hours requirements for the role.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.

Experience
