Sephora hiring a Beauty Advisor (Part-time, Flex) in Barceloneta, PR (USA). Provide personalized consultations, drive sales; $16.60–$22.00/hr.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized, consultative beauty experiences and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs.
  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPI metrics through proactive selling and clienteling.
  • Demonstrate product expertise and educate clients on application techniques, ingredients and regimen routines.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, support inventory control and ensure a clean, organized and welcoming sales floor.
  • Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and brand initiatives to provide relevant advice.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to promote an inclusive environment and uphold company policies and safety standards.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and be available for retail peak periods, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable tailoring recommendations to diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, goal-driven environment.
  • Ability to learn and retain product knowledge quickly and share it with clients.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform retail duties for extended periods.
  • Availability to meet minimum weekly shift requirements and work flexible schedules (including nights, weekends and holidays).

Experience

Entry-level; prior experience in retail, hospitality, or another client-facing role is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent service and build client relationships is expected.
