Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized consultations and product recommendations that respond to each client’s needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate and communicate product knowledge and application techniques to educate and empower clients.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and clienteling.
- Maintain merchandising standards, stock levels and a clean, welcoming sales floor to optimize the client experience.
- Stay current on beauty trends, new product launches and category innovation to provide relevant advice.
- Contribute to an inclusive team environment and uphold company policies to ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering excellent customer service in retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment preferred.
- Passion for beauty and up-to-date knowledge of trends, products and application techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships.
- Availability for retail peak hours including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable punctuality and attendance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required for merchandising and inventory tasks.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level; prior experience in retail, hospitality or a client-focused role is preferred but not required. The role is suitable for candidates building a career in beauty retail who demonstrate a strong customer-service orientation and willingness to learn.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; cosmetology, beauty or related certifications are a plus.
