Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations and collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure efficient workflows, compliance with brand standards, and attainment of sales and profitability targets.
- Lead, coach and develop store associates through real-time feedback, formal performance appraisals and actionable mentorship to drive individual and team performance.
- Recruit, onboard and retain diverse talent that embodies Sephora’s client service standards and inclusive culture.
- Deliver an elevated client experience through personalized service, loyalty program engagement and effective resolution of client concerns.
- Maintain visual merchandising, inventory accuracy and an immaculate store environment in line with Sephora’s operational and brand guidelines.
- Optimize staffing and inventory resources to respond to shifting business priorities and maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven retail assistant management experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments with a track record of driving results and developing teams.
- Strong leadership and business acumen with demonstrated ability to recruit, inspire and hold teams accountable to performance goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience delivering constructive feedback and fostering open dialogue.
- Demonstrated passion for coaching and development, including experience conducting performance reviews and career conversations.
