Role & Responsibilities
- Safeguard store assets against theft and collaborate with the Leadership team to uphold operational controls to minimize shrinkage.
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter potential external thefts.
- Adhere to all legal and Sephora policies regarding apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
- Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
- Provide testimony in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
- Deliver new hire and ongoing employee training to enhance store loss prevention awareness.
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to the Leadership team and District Loss Prevention Manager.
- Assist with inventory preparation and processes, collaborating on shrinkage prevention plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
- Meet all provincial or local licensing requirements.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in a related field.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
