Role & Responsibilities

  • Promote safety and awareness by leading and participating in meetings and training sessions to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the selling floor, dedicating 75-80% of time to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to align on shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
  • Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses.
  • Respond to incidents by de-escalating situations professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience.
  • Execute audits and prepare reports to support asset protection efforts.
  • Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
  • Support multiple locations as needed and represent Sephora in court if required.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
  • Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in conflict de-escalation.
  • Comfortable using CCTV and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Experience

Compensation

$23.00 - $27.12 per hour, based on qualifications, experience, and other business factors.
