Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble the individual components that constitute mechanical watch movements with precision and consistency.
  • Execute assigned operations autonomously while adhering to defined quality standards and productivity targets.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions; perform in-process visual and functional quality checks.
  • Specialise according to the chosen AFP pathway (assembly or adjustment/réglage), including fine adjustment and regulation tasks when applicable.
  • Use fine hand tools and optical aids (e.g., loupe or microscope) and maintain an organised, compliant workstation.
  • Document work steps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives under the supervision of trainers.
  • Participate in the formal apprenticeship curriculum and internal assessments delivered by experienced instructors.

Qualifications

  • Excellent visual acuity and sustained concentration.
  • High degree of manual dexterity, patience and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Logical, methodical approach to tasks and strong problem‑solving aptitude.
  • Genuine interest in horology and commitment to a multi‑year vocational apprenticeship.
  • Application file including CV, cover letter and school reports from the past three years.

Experience
