Role & Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical strategy and roadmap for Rolex's digital platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Design and deliver scalable, high-performance and secure digital platforms and architectures.
- Lead frontend framework strategy and implementation, with an emphasis on Next.js and server-side/ static rendering patterns (SSR/SSG).
- Implement and operationalize recommendation engines and user-segmentation solutions to personalise the customer experience.
- Debug complex technical issues, resolve bottlenecks and remove blockers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Conduct technical reviews of third-party tools, frameworks and emerging technologies to inform platform decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX/design, DevOps and QA to deliver high-quality digital products.
- Provide hands-on leadership, mentoring and technical direction to engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6 to 10 years of professional experience in a comparable technical leadership or senior engineering role.
- Fluency in French and English (both spoken and written).
- Proven experience implementing recommendation engines (rule-based, collaborative filtering, etc.) and user-segmentation solutions.
- Demonstrable experience with modern frontend architectures and frameworks, particularly Next.js, SSR and SSG.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with experience directing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail and proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid understanding of the data-marketing ecosystem and how behavioural, demographic and contextual data drive dynamic UX.

Experience
6–10 years in software engineering or technical leadership roles, with demonstrable experience leading frontend/platform initiatives and implementing recommendation or personalization systems.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
