System Engineer
Rolex in Geneva seeks a System Engineer (Full-time). Lead system administration, automation and monitoring to ensure high availability and security.

Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure daily administration, stability, performance and security of production systems.
- Design and implement monitoring, alerting and automation solutions to guarantee system availability.
- Lead configuration evolution, automation of deployments and infrastructure improvements.
- Participate in evaluation and deployment of new technical solutions, including authoring and maintaining documentation.
- Resolve complex incidents and perform Level 3 troubleshooting in heterogeneous, high-availability environments.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Higher education degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (Bachelor’s/Master’s).
- Fluent French and English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in a similar systems or infrastructure engineering role.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex, heterogeneous production environments.
- Solid knowledge of ITIL processes and associated tools; awareness of information security principles.
- Methodical, rigorous, customer-oriented with strong service mindset and resilience under pressure.
- Autonomous, proactive, collaborative and committed to continuous skills development.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in systems/infrastructure engineering with responsibility for administration, automation and high-availability operations; demonstrated track record resolving Level 3 incidents and implementing automation and monitoring at scale.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
