Rolex in Geneva seeks a Supply Chain Team Manager to lead production planning and procurement, managing performance and change.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide inspirational team leadership: communicate strategic direction, set ambitious yet attainable individual objectives, coach and develop talent through feedback and training.
  • Foster a collaborative culture: build trust, respect and interdepartmental cohesion while recognising achievements and encouraging initiative.
  • Lead and embed change: anticipate, explain and accompany evolutions in tools, processes and organisation to secure adoption.
  • Oversee operational planning and supply: manage end-to-end flow planning (internal and external), validate production and procurement plans, control inventories and proactively mitigate supply risks.
  • Drive performance management: monitor reporting tools and KPIs, analyse delivery variances and co‑develop corrective action plans with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure successful product and process launches by integrating new products and processes into production planning.
  • Anticipate resourcing needs: adapt the organisation and identify recruitment requirements to meet operational demand.
  • Champion continuous improvement: refine processes to enhance efficiency and respond to evolving operational challenges.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree from a technical university or equivalent (HES, EPF or comparable qualification).
  • Proven leadership capability with demonstrated experience managing teams in an industrial environment.
  • Solid track record in supply chain management within production contexts (planning, procurement, inventory control).
  • Demonstrated experience in driving and embedding organisational change.
  • Strong interpersonal qualities: active listening, empathy, managerial courage and situational intelligence.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and align cross‑functional teams.

Experience

Minimum five years of progressive experience in industrial supply chain roles with substantive people‑management responsibilities and a proven record of delivering planning, procurement and inventory objectives.
