Quality Technician
Rolex in Geneva seeks a Quality Technician to manage daily quality performance in production. Permanent role, mid-level, manufacturing quality focus.

Role & Responsibilities
- Drive daily quality performance for a production workshop, collaborating closely with operations, industrialisation, suppliers and internal customers.
- Maintain and enforce best-practice quality standards through participation in sector steering and coordination meetings.
- Lead and participate in problem resolution for quality incidents and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide hands-on technical support to production teams during ramp-up and manufacturing changes.
- Manage the quality relationship with external suppliers and support supplier corrective actions.
Qualifications
- HES engineer or ES technician in mechanical engineering, microtechnology or equivalent, complemented by formal training in quality.
- Minimum 2–3 years' professional experience in a comparable quality role within machining, finishing and/or assembly environments.
- Practical knowledge of preventive and corrective quality tools and problem‑solving methodologies (8D, 5M, QRQC).
- Demonstrated rigor, autonomy, organisation and teamworking ability.
- Strong facilitation, analytical, synthesis and communication skills, with proven adaptability and learning capacity.
Skills
Experience
At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance or quality control within precision manufacturing (machining, finishing or assembly). Experience in production support and supplier quality management is required.
Education
HES (engineering) or ES (technician) in mechanical engineering, microtechnology or equivalent; additional certification or coursework in quality management is expected.
