Rolex (Geneva) seeks a Production Operations Technician to ensure workshop performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational availability and reliable functioning of production equipment and tooling to meet workshop performance objectives.
  • Provide on‑floor technical support to production teams and contribute to the practical training and upskilling of workshop personnel.
  • Participate in qualification activities for new products and accompany the reception and commissioning of new production equipment.
  • Lead and facilitate cross‑functional working groups to identify and implement gains in productivity, quality and process efficiency.
  • Define, propose and drive continuous improvement projects for products and processes, from scoping to implementation and follow‑up.
  • Analyse quality deviations in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications

  • Technician diploma (Technicien ES) or HES engineering degree in mechanical engineering or microtechnology.
  • Proven competence using ERP systems and production management IT tools to pilot workshop performance indicators.
  • Strong affinity for on‑site, hands‑on work and demonstrated ability to lead improvement projects.
  • Rigor, initiative, strong organisational skills and a propensity for structured problem solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to animate teams, listen, analyse, synthesise and adapt in a collaborative environment.

Experience

Proven experience in a mechanical or microtechnical production environment, with hands‑on responsibility for workshop support, equipment commissioning and continuous improvement projects.
