Role & Responsibilities

  • Manufacture mechanical parts, tools and assemblies using conventional machine tools and CNC equipment according to technical drawings.
  • Define and sequence machining operations for complex components; assist with CAD/CAM programming and prepare machine programs.
  • Collaborate with workshop colleagues to process orders, monitor project progress and propose manufacturing solutions.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and drawings that support manufacturing and quality control.
  • Learn under the supervision of experienced trainers and participate in structured on-the-job and classroom instruction.

Qualifications

  • Strong aptitude in mathematics, physics and technical drawing.
  • Good spatial visualisation and the ability to interpret mechanical plans accurately.
  • Logical, methodical approach and high attention to detail.
  • Good manual dexterity and interest in precision mechanics.

Experience
