Role & Responsibilities
- Manufacture mechanical parts, tools and assemblies using conventional machine tools and CNC equipment according to technical drawings.
- Define and sequence machining operations for complex components; assist with CAD/CAM programming and prepare machine programs.
- Collaborate with workshop colleagues to process orders, monitor project progress and propose manufacturing solutions.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation and drawings that support manufacturing and quality control.
- Learn under the supervision of experienced trainers and participate in structured on-the-job and classroom instruction.
Qualifications
- Strong aptitude in mathematics, physics and technical drawing.
- Good spatial visualisation and the ability to interpret mechanical plans accurately.
- Logical, methodical approach and high attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity and interest in precision mechanics.

Skills
Experience
No prior professional experience required; the apprenticeship is designed for candidates with a strong interest in mechanics and aptitude for precision work. Practical vocational exposure is advantageous but not mandatory.
