Rolex in Geneva seeks a PLM Data Engineer to manage PLM/SAP/MES master data for Production and support PLM deployment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy, integrity and optimal use of Industrialisation master data (product and process definitions) within the PLM environment.
  • Support the Industrialisation team in creating and modifying PLM master data (articles, routings, bills of material, process definitions).
  • Act as first‑level PLM administrator and perform day‑to‑day PLM data administration tasks.
  • Maintain coherence and interfaces between PLM, ERP and MES systems and contribute to their functional alignment.
  • Support deployment and adoption of the PLM framework across sites and business units.
  • Define and document PLM data model, governance rules and data management processes for the business.
  • Contribute to data governance activities and promote data quality standards.
  • Train, coach and support end users; produce role‑based guidance and facilitate workshops.
  • Escalate and translate business change requests to other sites and IT stakeholders; contribute to project and change management.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (HES/FH/Bachelor or equivalent) or comparable technical qualification.
  • Proven experience in PLM master data management within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of PLM, ERP and MES architectures and their integrations.
  • In‑depth knowledge of PLM platforms (Windchill) and SAP.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in business analysis and project management.
  • Strong documentation, facilitation and training skills; pedagogical and service‑oriented attitude.
  • Rigorous, analytical thinker with synthesis skills and attention to detail.

Experience

Several years of hands‑on experience managing PLM master data and supporting PLM/ERP/MES integrations in an industrial or manufacturing context, with exposure to Windchill and SAP and participation in PLM deployment or data governance projects.

Engineering degree (HES/FH/Bachelor) or equivalent technical qualification.
