Rolex in Geneva seeks a Multifunctional Production Operator — Ceramics for R&D to produce, inspect and improve ceramic components.

Role & Responsibilities
- Produce ceramic components across the value chain: powder handling, forming, machining and tribofinishing according to R&D procedures.
- Perform dimensional, functional and aesthetic inspections to guarantee conformity and product quality.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene and safety instructions, including correct use of personal protective equipment.
- Carry out routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure reliable operation and uptime.
- Record and escalate operational data related to safety, quality and line performance to relevant stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying non‑conformities and proposing corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Federal VET certificate (CFC) or equivalent in a technical discipline is an asset.
- Practical experience in an industrial, production or laboratory environment is preferred.
- Solid understanding of production equipment and associated safety protocols.
- Proven competency in manufacturing techniques, quality control and laboratory operations.
- Proficiency with common office productivity tools for reporting and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation and clear, effective communication.
- Flexible, versatile and capable of working autonomously to manage daily tasks.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or laboratory environment is desirable. Experience working with ceramic materials or in precision component manufacture is advantageous.
Education
Vocational diploma (CFC) or equivalent in a technical field preferred.
