Rolex is seeking a Methods Technician in Geneva, Switzerland, to join its production division. The role involves developing machining programs and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop programs for machining equipment.
  • Monitor and communicate task progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in the integration of new products and processes, formalizing reference states.
  • Conduct production trials in collaboration with partner teams and draft associated reports.
  • Update technical data related to production equipment and operations.
  • Streamline and optimize manufacturing processes by establishing experimental plans.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects within production and service departments.

Qualifications

  • HES Engineer, ES Technician in Microtechnology, or equivalent.

Skills

Proven expertise in machining on single and multi-spindle turning machines with ISO and TISIS programming skills. Knowledge of CAD software, ideally CREO. Ability to work collaboratively with a hands-on approach. Methodical and rigorous approach with strong analytical and synthesis skills. Willingness to undergo initial training in Geneva before continuing the mission in the canton of Fribourg.

Experience

Expertise in machining on single and multi-spindle turning machines with a focus on programming.

Education

HES Engineer, ES Technician in Microtechnology, or equivalent.
