Role & Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate daily production logistics activities in collaboration with internal service colleagues, production stakeholders and external providers, ensuring optimal workload distribution.
  • Drive actions to control work-in-progress and manage delivery delays or advances to meet production deadlines.
  • Lead daily incident resolution activities and implement corrective actions in response to operational disruptions.
  • Enforce rules and procedures for the handling and control of precious materials.
  • Manage and optimise computerised systems and stock management processes to improve inventory reliability.
  • Define and follow continuous improvement plans; coach and support team members towards autonomy and increased responsibility.
  • Ensure clear internal and external communication for the logistics service.
  • Operate within a 2x8 shift schedule and guarantee continuity of service during shift operations.

Qualifications

  • Swiss Federal Diploma in Logistics (Brevet fédéral) or equivalent qualification in production management or logistics.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control and stock management; experience managing a team is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, reactivity and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Pragmatic, proactive and field-oriented with a high degree of versatility.

Experience

5 to 10 years of proven experience in logistics, preferably within production or manufacturing environments, with exposure to team coordination and inventory control.

Swiss Federal Diploma in Logistics or equivalent diploma in production management/logistics.
