Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and document incoming goods (raw materials, components, parcels) to ensure conformity and accurate inventory records.
- Organise and execute storage operations using appropriate handling equipment, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient warehousing.
- Prepare and stage customer and internal orders, including packing, labelling and loading shipments onto the correct transport means.
- Maintain accurate stock control through routine cycle counts and update inventory systems to guarantee traceability.
- Support logistics planning and the flow of goods to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment.
Qualifications
- Motivated candidate pursuing or eligible for a Swiss CFC apprenticeship in logistics or equivalent vocational track.
- Strong sense of responsibility and methodical work habits with an ability to follow exacting procedures.
- Good organisational skills and a collaborative mindset; comfortable working in teams.
- Physical stamina and comfort with manual handling and warehouse activity.
Experience
No previous professional logistics experience required; candidates should demonstrate motivation for hands-on logistics work and an aptitude for basic IT tools used in inventory management.
Education
Completion of compulsory schooling; candidature for a CFC (Federal VET Certificate) apprenticeship in logistics or equivalent vocational education.
